Celebrate Together 2024

On Tuesday, 3 December, people across Aotearoa joined the circus for a day to celebrate the International Day of Persons with Disabilities!

This year, Circability expanded our inclusive Celebrate Together circus events to all of our hubs - Kaitaia, Auckland, Tauranga and Christchurch.

By welcoming all levels and abilities, our focus is on empowering and building a strong circus whānau. We want every individual to be encouraged, built up, and to feel part of a community where it’s safe to express themselves through this wonderful art form and sport. Celebrate Together, our event on the internationally-observed United Nation’s International Day of Persons with Disabilities (IDPwD), aims to promote community awareness, understanding and acceptance of people with disability, through social circus.
